King David & Tehilim (Psalms) Heritage Fund.
 
King David & Tehilim (Psalms) Heritage Fund is situated in the buirial place of King David in Jerusalem. Founded by Rabbi Mordechai Goldstein who made it his mission to spread the Torah teachings of David Hamelech.    The reason   King David is so important in the  the life of a Jew is because King David was our teacher for the concept and  power of doing "Teshuva" (repending for our sins and praying to god for forgiveness.) which is one of the most important foundation of Judaism. a Jew is able to correct his mistakes and be forgivin for the damage that was done by his sins. in addition, the redemption from exile and the  revelation of the Shechinah will all come about through the Kingdom of David.

  King David and the Activity of The Tehillim Fund

King David, who is the King mashiach, went through many upsets, trials, suffering in his life and still remained humble and lowly before G-d. From within his troubles and his rising above them, he composed by the Holy Spirit most of the chapters of Tehilim (Psalms) and recited them with the pouring out of his heart and soul. Most of the prayers of the Jewish people were established by the prophets, the members of the Knesset Hagedolah (the Great Assembly), from the verses of the Psalms. The Tehilim is a very powerfull prayer book. Any person who recites the Tehilim (Psalms), whether or not he is in the same condition of troubles and elevations of the spirit as King David was. and whether intending Tehilim (Psalms) emotionally at first and then intellectually, or in the opposite way, intending them intellectually and then emotionally, - if one dwells upon the depth of their meaning and the ruach hakodesh which resides in them, one can reach the same spiritual purpose.

The History of Kever David Hamelech

The tziun of David Hamelech has been a heritage dating back to the second temple.

About 400 years ago. The Holy Ari-zal, Rabbi Yitzchak Luria testified and established that King David's resting place is in his current tziun at Har Zion in Jerusalem.

Tehilim Heritage Fund has been giving Jewish people all over the world an opportunity to send their prayers to the holy site of David Hamelech.  Certainly in merit of all this, our righteous Messiah will come who is of the son of King David, and King David himself will get up to stand at his side to guide him as is explained at the end of the Tractate Sukkah.
 

What We Do, Current Projects.

Tehilim fund has been running the Hevrat Tehilim (public recitation of Tehilim) every Shabbat by 130 children in the kever of David hamelech. as it is known that the world exists for the sake  pure prayer of the school children who are taught by the Rabbis. The organization also holds Melave Malka celebrations (celebrations, held to accompany the Sabbath Queen after the end of the Shabbat) by making a festive meal with songs of praise and melodies to G-d, as was the custom of King David. The fund currently runs a Kollel for Advanced Torah Study for Married Men as well as a yehiva for newly religious in the Diaspora yeshiva compound located at King Davids Tomb.

  A Melaveh Malka Meal with live music and singing near King David's Tomb
  Recitation of Psalms daily for the healing of the sick and the needy, including on Sabbaths and Festivals
